Where in the world is Cornershop?

Our usually-distributed team is looking forward to another busy conference season, kicking things off with not one, but TWO conferences in Portland this coming March.

EN West in Portland, Oregon

March 12

Engaging Networks is preparing for their first West Coast conference, and as newly-official-accredited-partners, we’re especially excited to sponsor! Sarah and Ira will share some of our favorite ways to customize Engaging Networks while we’re there.

NTC 2019 in Portland, Oregon

March 12 to March 15

While Sarah and Ira are at the Engaging Networks conference, Ben, Lesley, Meredith, and Chelsea will be at the Nonprofit Technology Conference’s pre-conference day. We’re co-sponsoring, and we’ll also present two sessions about WordPress, sharing strategies for your online forms and also chatting about common WordPress myths.

Then, we’ll spend the rest of the week at the main NTC event. We’re participating in a session about migrating CRM data, and yes, you’ll find us handing out fake fruit and veggies again this year! We love these opportunities to embrace our “Cornershop” theme.

AFP in San Antonio, Texas

March 31 to April 2

Next, we’ll be at the Association for Fundraising Professionals conference in San Antonio. We attended this conference for the first time last year. Sarah, Ira, and Lesley are looking forward to exploring San Antonio this time around!

WordCamp Europe in Berlin, Germany

June 20 to June 22

After Lesley makes it home to England safely, she’ll be attending WCEU as a volunteer communications coordinator. Check out what she learned at her last WCEU, and we’ll all look forward to hearing more about what she learns in Berlin this year.

Bridge 2019 in National Harbor, Maryland

July 10 to July 12

Sarah and Ira are attending the Bridge Conference near DC again this year. Our booth has been such a big hit in past years, we’ve received their “Best Booth” award two years in a row!

Netroots 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

July 11 to July 13

Overlapping with Bridge, Chelsea and Lesley will be exhibiting at Netroots again. We always love the panels, sessions, and protests at Netroots!

What’s next?

Keep an eye out for more news as we finalize plans for bbcon, WordCamp US, and other events later this year!

Chelsea began her work with progressive organizations, online communication strategies, and nonprofit technology in 2005. She spent many years managing technical support, product development, and product marketing with Salsa Labs before joining the Cornershop team. Her passion for quality communication, authentic relationships, and creative nerds serves her well in her work. Chelsea tolerates two cats with her husband and two kids at the end of a dead-end gravel road in Wisconsin.
