This new site for the California Fire Foundation includes a customized, searchable database for their Memorial.
The California Fire Foundation (CFF) provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters themselves, and the communities they protect in California. As part of this mission, they maintain and safeguard the California Firefighters’ Memorial in Sacramento.
CFF hired Cornershop to create an engaging, action-oriented, informational site that would compel people to donate, sign up for their email list, and encourage social media involvement. They also wanted to better highlight their memorial and make it easier for people to find information about fallen firefighters who are listed on their Memorial wall.
In addition to redesigning the site, we created a searchable database so that people can find information about fallen firefighters and the memorial.
As we developed, we were inspired to go beyond the data, giving CFF ways to highlight the work done and sacrifices made in support of so many communities: Fallen firefighter profiles are identified with a field code to highlight the exact section of the wall where they can be found, and a close-up image of each firefighter’s panel is presented based on the same field code:
We couldn't have trusted or picked a better company than Cornershop to redesign our website. Always pleasant, organized and knowledgeable in their field, Cornershop was a dream to work with. The pricing, interaction and end-product was amazing - we highly recommend Cornershop!
