Cornershop built Team4Tech’s original Drupal site years ago, but they needed a website that would be easier to update and edit. We were happy to work with them again to migrate their Drupal content onto a new WordPress site.
After a thorough review of Team4Tech’s Drupal site, we got to work migrating their content. We focused on moving content into layouts based on their Drupal design into a Jupiter theme. Thanks to the theme, we built a new WordPress site that matched their original Drupal design almost exactly!
While working on the development and design for the new site, we also did some emergency clean-up. An outdated Drupal instance left Team4Tech’s old site vulnerable to hacking. We quickly mitigated the security concerns with updates and content clean-up on the Drupal site. Then we added Sucuri and Cloudflare configuration to aid in improving site speeds and security.
Once the new site was finished, we then replaced the Drupal site with the new WordPress site. To streamline their management of post types, we added built-in taxonomies to help them organize posts by categories. Finally, we updated their forms using Form Assembly and Gravity Forms, and we used facets to create a custom Google map based on pinned locations. WordPress makes their work even easier, providing a clean interface for the Team4Tech content managers.
Cornershop was extremely attentive to our budget constraints and understanding of our unique needs as a nonprofit, as well as responsive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with!
