Our friends at the American Anti-Vivisection Society were using a proprietary CMS that presented challenges with updating and maintaining their site. After looking at other vendors, they reached out to us, and asked if we could turn around a high-quality custom design and build in just three months.
We went through a detailed site map, wireframe, design, and development, and content migration process to deliver the organization a beautiful, new, mobile-responsive WordPress site and custom-styled Salsa donation and advocacy forms. When we weren’t sure about the best way to organize the hundreds of content items in the new information architecture, we presented the question to real, live site visitors through an online tree test exercise.
Best of all, AAVS now has complete control over every aspect of their site, including beautiful Salsa templates and a flexible widget that lets them control what content appears in the left column of their site on a page-by-page basis!
