Maloto (which means dreams in Chichewa, the recognized national language of Malawi) is a small organization borne of a passion for Malawi and its people. Founder and CEO Anna Msowoya Keys, herself from Malawi, started the organization to work with local partners on programs for nutrition, education, and entrepreneurship.

The organization’s old website was bright and colorful, but inexplicably built in Shopify, an online shopping cart tool that made it difficult to provide a robust navigation, easy backend for maintenance, and connections to social media.

They needed a redesign and redevelopment to make the most of their online engagement. We placed a priority on making the site easy to update, allowing the Maloto team to add more content as they grow.

We used the Hera template on the Jupiter WordPress framework to create a vibrant site with a flexible structure that shows off Maloto’s content in a beautiful, engaging way.
