The Child Nutrition Act, which provides healthy meal programs and nutrition education to children and families, expires in October 2015, and several agencies in New York City, where nearly 1 million school children eat lunch each day, are ready to champion its re-approval.
City Harvest, one of those agencies, hired Cornershop to help build a neutral platform for the campaign, which would strengthen the alliance of partner agencies without relying on the branding of any particular agency. We build a beautiful site where these agencies can come together to advocate for this important legislation.
The flexible WordPress site links to customized Salsa forms, which we branded to match the campaign. Community members, alliance partners, and potential partners can rely on the site to learn more about the issues surrounding child nutrition in New York City, connect with resources available to them, and pledge their commitment to the cause.
New partners are able to submit a partnership application, upload a logo, and link their social media accounts by filling out a simple online form. The customized Gravity Form adds each partner into City Harvest’s Salsa instance as a constituent, and marks them as alliance partners.
The site boasts a combined RSS feed of three like-minded agencies, is fully mobile responsive and utilizes a modern and attractive parallax design to lead audiences to the information they need.
