The For Our Future Action Fund works to organize and empower people and community organizations collectively mobilizing issue and electoral campaigns to advance a shared agenda. With so many moving pieces, our team was eager to get started on a network of websites that can also work together to advance that shared agenda.
The For Our Future Action Fund (FOFF) team needed to move away from Wix to a website builder that could grow with them — one that would be easy for their team to manage and update content and design over time. They also needed a way to manage and clone or build new microsites as needed.
Enter: WordPress Multisite with the stellar combo of Blocksy and Gutenberg. After an extensive design process to give their team the flexibility to grow the websites for potential future needs, we got started building the main For Our Future Action Fund website. We were then able to clone the main site to create subsites, such as For Our Future PA and For Our Future FL.
Once their new system of websites was ready to go, we gathered all of their website admins from across their network together for an in-depth training on how to use this robust new tool at their disposal.
The new websites are beautiful, user-friendly, and forward-thinking for the organization. As FOFF approaches new issues and campaigns, their websites can easily grow with them and act as an invaluable resource for their mobilization efforts.
