The Clifton Park Halfmoon Emergency Corps (CPHM) embodies compassion, integrity, and safety in the care they provide for the communities they serve.
Known for their commitment to premier patient care, we were so happy to make a newly designed site a reality for CPHM and help them build a safer and healthier community in Clifton Park, Halfmoon, and Mechanicville.
With this redesign, the Clifton Park team had two main goals: to distinguish themselves from their competitors, and make the site easier to use for those in their community. Along with this, as the design process continued they also expressed an emphasis on better showcasing their impact on their community to encourage locals to get involved.
To fulfill these goals, we knew the best way to create their new site was to use a Blocksy Child build. With a Blocksy build, we would be able to implement the numerous functionalities and features to display the statistics and portray their work in their communities. These features included an annual call log, multiple types of events for them to best showcase their impact on their community and encourage locals to get involved in their mission, and migration and integration with their customer relationship management(CRM) system, Neon CRM.
The annual call log, which highlights the amount of calls they’ve had in the past two years, was a combined work with wpDataTables and Google Sheets, integrating and connecting these two services to create a running near real-time log that displays the volume of the calls over the years. This helps not only distinguish them from their competitors by displaying the amount of calls they’ve responded to and for visitors to be able to compare these numbers, but helps to present all of the people in their communities who call on them for help and show their dedication and impact.
Along with their emergency services, CPHM also hosts multiple types of events that promote safety and basic medical emergency knowledge for the public, such as CPR classes and car seat checks to ensure that children’s car seats are properly installed, along with hosting skills exams for health professionals and providers, and more. We integrated these into the website through their events calendar, which has an upcoming events section that focuses on the soonest upcoming events CPHM is holding, as well as a full calendar of events, both utilizing The Events Calendar that lets them easily create and update events. These events are connected to GravityForms, which they use for event registration, along with the Neon CRM that connects all of their forms.
All of these integrations were made possible by our manual migration with Neon CRM, which allows them to update event registrations, form submissions, and more between their internal tools and systems and their website.
Redesigning the CPHM website was an incredible project and we’re proud to have created a nonprofit website where they can showcase their work, from events and classes to call volume and more. This redesigned website not only elevates CPHM’s online presence but also empowers them to better connect with their community and highlight their essential role in ensuring safety and well-being. By aligning modern design with powerful functionality, the site serves as a testament to their dedication to public service and their community’s trust in their care. We are thrilled to have played a part in bringing their vision to life and are confident this platform will continue to support CPHM’s mission of fostering a safer, healthier community for years to come.
