These digital campaigns are a critical channel for mobilizing constituents and sustaining long-term advocacy and education efforts.
Our work begins in close collaboration with Avalon Consulting, who leads campaign strategy, messaging, and design. From there, our team provides the technical implementation and optimization needed to bring each campaign to life—building responsive emails, donation forms, and landing pages that are easy to manage and perform well across devices.
What Each Campaign Included
Every campaign was designed to maximize engagement and conversions, and typically included:
- Mobile-friendly email templates built for accessibility and readability
- Custom landing pages with automated follow-up messages
- Campaign-specific enhancements, such as surveys and custom graphics
- Welcome email series for new donors, encouraging continued involvement after an initial action
These components worked together to create a seamless supporter experience from inbox to action.
Smarter Targeting and Higher Fundraising Results
To further improve performance, we implemented custom tracking codes that dynamically adjusted donation ask amounts based on a supporter’s previous giving history. This personalization helped ensure appeals were relevant and appropriately tailored.
Campaign emails were sent to approximately 34,000 supporters and raised nearly five times more than previous appeals. As a result, the League now uses custom tracking for every email appeal to continuously refine targeting and results.
Ongoing Optimization and Platform Transition
Since partnering with the League, we’ve built, tested, and monitored thousands of fundraising and advocacy emails. Our ongoing support includes email templates, targeting strategies, survey layouts, rapid-response campaigns, donation form creation, and more.
This year, we also supported a transition to Engaging Networks, creating custom blocks and templates modeled after the League’s existing designs. This shift streamlined email production, reduced turnaround time, and significantly expanded tracking and reporting capabilities.
Increased Efficiency With Fewer Emails
Even with a lower overall email volume in 2025, the League maintained the same total fundraising revenue as the previous year. Fewer emails delivering the same results means a clear increase in email fundraising efficiency—a win for both staff capacity and supporter experience.
