Following a major rebrand and website launch, the PAN Foundation partnered with Cornershop Creative to provide long-term WordPress support, technical stability, and strategic guidance for their digital ecosystem. As a patient-centered nonprofit providing financial assistance, advocacy, and education, PAN needed a website partner who could ensure performance, accessibility, and reliability—while preparing their platform for future growth during a budget-conscious year.
We began the engagement with a structured onboarding and discovery phase, taking time to understand PAN’s internal workflows, IT ownership model, and existing technical challenges. Rather than rushing into changes, we established baseline support through code reviews, performance checks, and infrastructure assessments. This deliberate approach created a smooth 4–6 week transition and ensured continuity during peak traffic periods, including PAN’s high-volume January season.
A key priority was improving hosting performance and long-term scalability. PAN’s site had evolved over several years with multiple vendors and limited content management resources. Cornershop guided the team through a hosting evaluation and migration strategy focused on speed, security, and stability—while keeping ownership with PAN’s internal IT team. The result was a more reliable foundation that reduced technical risk and positioned the site for ongoing optimization.
To maximize ROI within a monthly support retainer, we implemented a flexible “parking lot” system for maintenance, enhancements, and priority fixes. This allowed PAN to consistently use their allocated hours on the most impactful work, while adapting to changing needs. We also supported integrations across WordPress and Salesforce, including form migrations and analytics improvements, ensuring smoother data flow despite platform limitations.
Looking ahead, we helped PAN plan for future expansion, including multilingual subsites supported by grant funding. With extensive multisite experience, Cornershop provided strategic guidance on scalable architecture that would allow PAN to launch and manage new sites—such as Spanish-language resources—efficiently and cost-effectively. This forward-looking planning laid the groundwork for future initiatives, including paid search growth and a potential site redesign.
The outcomes of this partnership were both immediate and long-term. PAN gained a faster, more stable, and accessible website, improved internal confidence in site management, and reliable access to WordPress, SEO, paid search, and development expertise. Most importantly, the organization now has a digital platform that supports its mission today while driving sustainable growth, visibility, and fundraising impact in the years ahead.
