Andrew grew up along the St. Lawrence Seaway in Upstate New York, watching cargo ships out of the Midwest work their way downriver toward the Atlantic. He now lives at the other end of that same system in Racine, Wisconsin, which is a roundabout way of saying he never really left the freshwater.
Andrew has specialized in building custom WordPress sites since 2017, working with agencies and business owners in New York, Philadelphia, and the D.C. metro area before starting his own boutique studio in Racine. He is happiest and most fulfilled on nonprofit projects, where a faster and more accessible site translates directly into more people getting helped. He builds themes by hand, cares more about page speed than is reasonable, and once wrote a plugin to generate accessible alt text – mostly because he was tired of writing it himself.
When he isn’t working, Andrew is usually poking at whatever is new in WordPress or AI, or logging hours in his flight simulator. His cat, Molly, supervises.
