Erica has been a freelancer in the content marketing space since 2018, working as a content writer and social media manager to help small businesses get found online while forging meaningful connections with their audiences. More recently, an interest in sharpening her skills alongside a team, combined with a passion for animal welfare, led her to become a marketing volunteer at one of the largest animal rescue organizations in North Texas. She was quickly asked to move up to a leadership role, and (despite her introverted nature) she was pleasantly surprised to discover that she’s actually pretty good at it.
Her recent volunteer work gave her that ‘lightbulb moment’ when she decided to make a career pivot that would help nonprofits thrive. As a Project Manager with Cornershop Creative, Erica finds working with so many inspiring organizations both exciting and fulfilling.
When she’s not working, you can usually find Erica reading, gaming, or daydreaming about future travel plans. And spoiling her cat, Nori. Always.
