The Kipos Group were using a restrictive website builder that made it difficult to make updates, and they needed a more flexible system that could grow with them. We partnered with their team to build a custom nonprofit website that would reflect their professionalism and give them control over their content.
Usability was the top priority throughout the project. We rebuilt the site from scratch using the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg), which gives the Kipos team the ability to manage and create content on their own. Instead of using static templates, we designed custom block-based layouts that allow staff to create pages using consistent styles that align with their brand. This approach not only improves workflow but also ensures the site maintains a clean, cohesive look no matter who is adding content.
Improving homepage messaging was another key objective. The previous homepage lacked a clear explanation of The Kipos Group’s services and the impact they help nonprofits achieve. In the new design, we helped highlight their consulting focus, emphasize their expertise in nonprofit fundraising, and guide visitors to learn more about services and connect with the team. The homepage now serves as a confident introduction to their mission and value.
As part of the project, we migrated their five most recent blog posts. These were carefully formatted and optimized for search engines, serving as strong examples of content structure that Kipos can follow as they expand their blog. This not only supports their visibility goals but also provides a solid framework for future nonprofit website updates.
The site also integrates Gravity Forms, which allows Kipos to easily capture inquiries, contact messages, and leads. The forms are cleanly styled and embedded throughout the site, making it simple for prospective clients to get in touch.
One challenge we encountered involved their existing GoDaddy hosting plan, which presented limitations around performance and compatibility. Our team set up a parallel hosting environment to demonstrate how a different plan could better support the site. With guidance, the Kipos team made the switch to a more appropriate option that supports their long-term needs.
This new website gives The Kipos Group a strong, sustainable foundation for continued growth. With a modern design built on the WordPress block editor, their team can easily update content, publish new resources, and keep their messaging aligned with evolving goals, all without needing outside technical support. The flexible layout system ensures consistency across the site, while tools like Gravity Forms make it easy to stay connected with prospective clients. By pairing user-friendly design with SEO-conscious content migration, this site positions The Kipos Group to better showcase their expertise, support long-term visibility, and confidently grow their impact in the nonprofit sector.
