Building a Dual Digital Presence for EducateUS Education Fund

The Problem

EducateUS was at an inflection point. The organization was preparing to launch a brand-new 501(c)(3) entity alongside their existing 501(c)(4) advocacy work — and they needed both organizations to stand on their own, digitally speaking, while still feeling like part of the same family. The challenge was significant: coordinate a complete rebrand of their existing site, build a second site for the new entity, and time both launches to land simultaneously with a high-stakes “Back to School” announcement. Oh, and do it all within a summer timeline, working around content delivery delays and seasonal scheduling constraints.

Our Approach

Rather than starting from scratch twice, we worked smart. Cornershop began by refreshing the existing c4 site — updating the logo, colors, and typography to give EducateUS a modern, cohesive visual identity. Once that rebrand was solid, we cloned the site as the foundation for the new c3 organization. This approach kept development efficient and ensured both sites shared a strong functional backbone from day one.

From there, we tailored each site to its audience. The c3 site was designed to carry a slightly more formal tone while staying true to EducateUS’s approachable, authentic voice. We migrated and laid out content for 10 key pages — prioritizing the most complex and high-traffic areas to set the new organization up for a smooth launch. Throughout, we kept a close eye on sequencing: the c4 rebrand had to be complete before c3 development could begin, and we coordinated closely with the client’s content schedule to make sure nothing slipped.

The Solution

The result is a cohesive digital ecosystem — two distinct sites that share a visual foundation, consistent user experience, and flexible infrastructure each organization can build on. The c4 site feels refreshed and current. The c3 site feels purpose-built for its mission. And both launched on time, in step with EducateUS’s coordinated announcement strategy.

By cloning and customizing rather than rebuilding from the ground up, we kept the project on schedule and on budget without sacrificing quality. Each organization now has a site that reflects its specific mission and speaks directly to its audience — while making it clear they’re part of the same broader movement in education advocacy.

The Results

EducateUS introduced their new c3 entity to the world with confidence, backed by a digital presence that was ready from day one. The coordinated launch gave both organizations maximum visibility at a high-profile moment, and the shared infrastructure means future updates and expansions can be made efficiently across both sites. Most importantly, EducateUS now has the digital tools to grow — and to tell both sides of their story, clearly and compellingly, to the audiences who matter most.
