From All Faiths to Unica: A Full Rebrand and Website Launch for Unica Behavioral Health

Unica Behavioral Health — formerly All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center — came to Cornershop at a turning point. Backed by a $4 million SAMHSA grant, the organization was evolving from a children’s advocacy center into a full-service Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. That kind of growth called for more than a new logo. It called for a full organizational rebrand, including two brand-new websites built to match what the organization had become.

This wasn’t a standalone web project. It was a coordinated rebrand developed alongside Michigan-based branding agency Moonsail North, with Cornershop stepping in as overall project manager and leading all site design and development.

Two Agencies, One Rebrand, Two Websites

Moonsail North led the brand strategy: stakeholder research, a new name, logo concepts, taglines, color palettes, and brand guidelines. Once their new name “Unica” was approved, Cornershop picked up the build, developing two WordPress sites from the ground up: a main site for Unica Behavioral Health, and an adoption services site mirroring the main build.

Our scope covered discovery, a full site map, five design assets, and custom layouts and content types, including a Staff post type with a handy accordion-style bio layout. We added Spanish-language translation through TranslatePress, an events plugin, and a Board of Directors application form, then handled the technical optimization of redirecting old site links across both sites. With a full domain and URL change underway, those redirects mattered. Old links from partner sites, past newsletters, and search results all needed to land visitors on the new site without a hiccup, protecting both the user experience and the SEO equity Unica had already built.

Keeping a Complex Rebrand on Track Without a Full Leadership Team

The organization was navigating this rebrand without a complete leadership team for much of the development phase. On top of that, IRS approval of the name change was still pending while the site build was in full swing, and launch couldn’t happen until that approval came through.

Rather than stall, Cornershop used the waiting period to tighten content and run thorough QA, so the sites would be ready the moment approval landed. We also worked directly with Regina, the client’s primary contact, coordinating through a working lunch with our Albuquerque-based team lead to review outstanding content and sort out what Cornershop could take on versus what needed to wait on the client’s end. That kind of practical, in-the-weeds problem-solving kept the project moving without piling more pressure onto an already stretched team.

A Behavioral Health Website Built for Two Distinct Audiences

The result is a clean, modern, and accessible digital presence that speaks to two very different groups: families and individuals seeking behavioral health services, and professionals looking to make referrals or explore career opportunities.

The new site captures the full breadth of Unica’s work, from children’s advocacy and wraparound services to veteran mental health programs, the NM FIESTA training institute, and placement services. It’s built to help people find the right program quickly, whether they’re a parent searching for support or a clinician exploring a referral pathway.

A Digital Presence That Finally Matches 70 Years of Impact

With both websites live under a new name and a new domain, while protecting every legacy link, Unica Behavioral Health stepped into its next chapter with a website that reflects the scale of its work. After more than 70 years serving Albuquerque, the organization now has a digital home as sophisticated as the services it provides.
