The Hebrew Free Loan Society (HFLS), based in New York City, offers safe and affordable interest-free loans to the local Jewish community and beyond with the goal of providing economic stability and opportunity for lower income New Yorkers.
Specifically, HFLS’s Small Business Loan program offers interest-free loans up to $50,000 for low-and-moderate income New Yorkers to help launch or expand their business. Since 2005, HFLS has provided over 600 loans totaling over $18 million to small business owners.
The Hebrew Free Loan Society wanted to shine a spotlight on these small businesses, and our team was excited to help them do it. We designed and developed a new page on the HFLS website that features a searchable and filterable directory of current small businesses.
Our team built the page using a custom template with advanced custom fields. With this approach, the HFLS team can easily edit and build upon the page as their small business loan program grows. We used FacetWP to create the on-page search and filtering, setting specific parameters to allow visitors to search and filter businesses by type and location.
The end result is a beautiful page that highlights all of the deserving small businesses that the Hebrew Free Loan Society works with — a page that can grow along with the HFLS team and small business loan program.
