A lymphoma diagnosis changes everything, in an instant. People and families suddenly need reliable information, financial guidance, peer support, and someone to help them make sense of their treatment options. The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) had long offered that lifeline through its Helpline. But LRF wanted to do more, so they asked Cornershop to help transform that single point of contact into a Resource Center.
From One Helpline to a Full Community Hub
The result is a comprehensive digital hub, now live at lymphoma.org/resourcecenter. In one place, anyone affected by lymphoma or CLL can get one-on-one support from LRF’s trained team, request a Patient Aid Grant for treatment-related costs, connect with a peer through the Lymphoma Support Network, and use a new Treatment Navigation Service to understand their options, including personalized clinical trials searches. Medically reviewed guides and publications round out the offering, available to read online or request in print. It’s a meaningful evolution, from a single phone line to a full-service destination built around what the lymphoma community actually needs at every stage, whether someone is newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or living beyond lymphoma.
Designing for Someone Who Is Overwhelmed
This project was a linchpin of LRF’s broader website, and the stakes were high. Clear, compassionate design was not a nice-to-have; it was essential. Cornershop built the Resource Center to feel welcoming and easy to navigate, even for someone who just received a diagnosis and doesn’t know where to start. Every content decision and every structural choice was made with that person in mind.
Rather than organizing the site around LRF’s internal programs, Cornershop organized it around user needs: understand your options, find support quickly, and feel confident taking the next step. That reframing shapes the entire page into the five clear entry points that guide visitors to the right resource, whether that’s a support team member, a grant application, or an educational library resource.
Built to Move Fast Without Losing Care
What made this project stand out was the pace. Cornershop delivered a polished, fully functional Resource Center in approximately three weeks, without cutting corners on quality or care. For a nonprofit healthcare resource where accuracy and tone carry real weight, that kind of turnaround demanded deep collaboration, clear communication, and a team that knows how to move decisively while still getting the details right.
The speed didn’t come at the expense of substance. The finished hub folds together several distinct programs, financial aid, treatment navigation, peer support, and education, into one coherent experience instead of a scattered set of pages. That consolidation resulted in visitors no longer having to hunt across the site to find what they needed.
A Resource Built to Serve, Not Just to Launch
Cornershop is proud of what it built alongside the LRF team, and even prouder of the people it will serve. The Lymphoma Resource Center gives LRF a scalable foundation for supporting patients and families for years to come, and it gives the people searching for answers after a diagnosis a single, trustworthy place to start.
