Although Peace Action’s Drupal website had done an admirable job supporting the organization, the time had come to redesign the site and address lagging technology. Using the Jupiter template on WordPress, we created an easily-editable new site in a snap.
Peace Action is a longstanding national, grassroots organization dedicated to organizing a citizen movement around world peace, without nuclear weapons, without war, with health and dignity for all human beings, and with decision-making opportunity for all.
Although the organization’s Drupal website had done an admirable job supporting Peace Action, the time had come to redesign the site and address lagging technology.
Using the Jupiter template on WordPress, we made customization of the site a snap. With the move from Drupal to WordPress, Peace Action got an integrated blog, which had been a stand-alone site previously, and the ability to cross-promote content on the site without having to link to external sources. Along with the website refresh, we gave their templates in Salsa a facelift and provided integration between Salsa and Wordpress using the Salsa Add-On for Gravity Forms.
This move to a more intuitive platform serves both visitors and site administrators better, enabling Peace Action to shift even more of their focus from organizing their website to organizing supporters for peace.
