Women and Hollywood’s tagline is simply:

Hollywood is broken. Especially for women. We’re working to fix that.

Founder Melissa Silverstein came to Cornershop looking to build a new home for her work — especially Women and Hollywood, which at that point pointed directly to a blog on Indiewire, diluting the brand.

Eight years after founding the organization and setting up a site in blogspot and four or five years after blogging through Indiewire, Melissa was ready for a change. Women and Hollywood needed its own home, free from restrictions — a place where Women and Hollywood could do advocacy, promote speaking engagements, seek partnerships, and promote fundraising.

We designed and built a custom WordPress site with an energetic, strong, and bold design that echoes the work and aspirations of the organization. To help with content reuse, we integrated an RSS feed from Medium so that content is easily shared. We also added and customized a Gravity form with MailChimp integration for email signups.
