Meet the Team

Our Mission
We founded Cornershop Creative in 2012 after seeing the impact that a strong online presence can have on an organization’s mission and work. We’re in awe of our nonprofit friends changing the world, and we want to help you scale your reach.
We understand the importance of your mission and how much a great website can positively impact your work. We also know that organizations like yours have to keep budgets and deadlines top-of-mind. We bring our tech know-how and listening ear to the table and partner with you to get your website where you want it to go.
What We Do
We specialize in nonprofit web design, development, and digital strategy, helping mission-driven organizations create powerful, user-friendly websites that drive engagement and impact.
Our team of WordPress experts builds accessible, secure, and high-performing sites tailored to the unique needs of nonprofits, advocacy groups, and social good initiatives. From seamless donation integrations to ongoing maintenance and marketing support, we provide custom digital solutions that help organizations grow, connect with supporters, and achieve their goals. Let’s build something great together!

Our Values
We Respect Our Clients
We’re not here to get rich; if that were the case, we’d have founded a startup with missing vowels in the name. No, we’re here because we love helping people achieve their goals. We know it’s not our clients’ jobs to be tech-savvy like we are, and that’s cool: we recognize that our clients bring their own insight and expertise. We respect your perspective, and respect the constraints — time, budget, etc. — you work within.
We Respect Users
We identify with the folks who use the sites we build, and we aim to create services and experiences that make sense to them. It’s not that sites need to be simple and engaging because people are dumb or don’t care; it’s that users are busy and need things to be easy to use. We acknowledge the realities of what users want and need, and fine-tune our work until it makes the audience happy and engaged.
We Respect Ourselves
We’re interested in working with clients who treat us as equal partners, not just the “hired help.” We’re not interested in working with organizations and causes whose values and goals conflict with our own beliefs (sorry, Trump supporters). While the success of our clients is incredibly important to us, so are our families, and we aim to maintain a healthy work/life balance that keeps us energized and happy with our jobs.
We Think Long-Term
We prefer lasting relationships with our clients over one-off, “fire and forget” work (which isn’t to say we won’t do one-offs, mind you). We’re more interested in clients who are looking to build long-term relationships with their customers and constituents and can see the big picture; sometimes it takes a little more investment up front to craft more flexible, future-friendly websites.
We’re Good Citizens
We give back to the communities we draw upon, and try to leave the world (wide web) a better place than we found it. That includes using Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as a foundation for all of our decisions, being a member of PledgeNoHate.tech, making donations to nonprofits our team members love, and giving time back to the WordPress community we draw from, by contributing code, organizing and supporting WordCamps, and promoting WordPress at other events.
We Kick Butt
At the end of the day, we strive to do work that’s really, really good and that we can be proud of. It’s not just about being “good enough” so that our clients are satisfied — it’s about taking care of the little extra things and subtle details that make a big difference in how successful a project is, whether before, during, or after it’s done.
