Trans Lifeline is run by and for trans people. They provide trans peer support for their community that’s been divested from police since day one. We were happy to get to work with their team on a new site!
Trans Lifeline was in desperate need of a new website. Their old site wasn’t functioning properly, and they needed to add a few more features to improve their site’s user experience. However, they were happy with their previous website design and wanted to keep the same look on the new site.
We built them a new WordPress website with the same design, but with additional features, such as:
- Faceted search to help users easily find the information they need
- IP Sniffer to increase security on the website
- Translations to help users read website content in the language they’re most comfortable with
- Embeds to easily share tools, data, and information on the site
- Call/phone number buttons to make it easy for users to access help
- Exit button to help users make a quick exit from the site when needed
- Embedded tables to display key documents for their ID Change Library
The Trans Lifeline team has a new, fresh website that’s easy for their team to update and use. In addition, their community once again has access to their life-saving resources. They have a site that works, and it helps people who actually need help NOW.
