We worked with Children’s Inn at NIH to migrate their many forms from Kintera to Salsa and create a beautiful new multi-step donation form.
The Children’s Inn at NIH is a private, nonprofit residence for families and their children who are participating in pediatric research at the National Institutes of Health’s Clinical Center.
They needed help migrating their many forms from Kintera to Salsa, and we had a blast helping them create a beautiful new multi-step donation form, in addition to several other forms that feed data from WordPress directly into Salsa using our new Salsa / Gravity Forms plugin, including the Volunteer Service Application form.
On the WordPress side, we built an integration with PayPal that passes donation amount and honor/memory data from the form directly to PayPal for checkout. We also added code for delimiters since some single fields were collecting multiple pieces of data, to make our clients’ lives easier when they go to separate data in Excel for mailing. It’s a comprehensive set of features and modifications that will make their workflow much simpler internally and the donating and form processes for the external users easier, too!
